مقایسه شمارش ماست‌سل‌ها در گربه‌های مبتلا به بیماری پریودنتال و ارتباط آن با شدت التهاب

چکیده

    پریودنتیت از بیماری­های التهابی دهان است که می­تواند منجر به از دست رفتن دندان شود.  ماست­ سل­ ها سلول­های التهابی هستند که می­توانند در بروز آن سهیم باشند، اما نتایج قطعی در این خصوص وجود ندارد.  مطالعات موجود نیز نتایج متفاوت و متناقضی را در خصوص این سلول­ها و ارتباط آن­ها با پریودنتیت ارائه نموده­اند.  در این مطالعه تعداد ماست ­سل ­ها در گربه ­های مبتلا به پریودنتیت و ارتباط آن­ها با شدت التهاب و حد چسبندگی بالینی بررسی گردید.  این مطالعه بر روی 75 قلاده گربه بالغ مو کوتاه اهلی، از هر دو جنس نر و ماده و در 5 گروه، و هر گروه متشکل از 15 قلاده گربه صورت گرفت به طوری که چهار گروه به عنوان چهار مرحله پریودنتیت و یک گروه به عنوان کنترل (سالم) در نظر گرفته شدند.  نمونه­های بیوپسی از لثه تهیه و متعاقب آماده­سازی با روش­های استاندارد بافت­ شناسی، توسط تولوئیدین بلو و هماتوکسیلین و ائوزین رنگ­آمیزی شدند.  تعداد ماست­ سل­ ها در بین گروه­های مورد مطالعه از اختلاف معنی­دار برخوردار بوده و با پیشرفت بیماری، تعداد آن­ها نیز افزایش یافت به گونه­ای که در گربه­ های سالم کم­ترین (37/0 ± 07/1) و در مرحله چهارم پریودنتیت بیشترین (61/1 ± 21/25) بود.  همچنین تعداد ماست ­سل­ ها با شدت التهاب و حد چسبندگی بالینی واجد ارتباط مستقیم و معنی­دار بود.  شدت التهاب و لیز استخوانی نیز در مراحل سوم و چهارم بیماری واجد اختلاف معنی­دار بود.  با توجه به ارتباط مستقیم و معنی­دار ماست­ سل­ ها با شدت التهاب و مراحل مختلف پریودنتیت، می­توان گفت که این سلول­ها در پاتوژنز بیماری پریودنتال نقش بسیار مهمی دارند.
