Peer Review Process

The process of accepting articles

Peer Review Process
All papers submitted to IVJ are subject to a single-blind peer reviewing procedure. Our editorial decision on each article is based on initial editor processing and refereeing by expert reviewers. Review times often differ depending on the subject area of the paper. All manuscripts submitted to IVJ must be original contributions, and must not be under consideration for publication with another journal, nor have been previously published, in part or whole.

Reviewers (Three reviewers related to the specialized field) are determined for submitted papers at the editorial board meeting, after being received and primary overviewed. After receiving comments from the reviewers, if at least two reviewers agree with the scientific content of the paper, the article is sent to the author for the necessary modifications. After receiving the amended article, one of the referees will be selected as the coordinating referee (adaptive), and after complete elimination of the scientific or editorial error and responding to all questions, comments and uncertainties items, they will be considered again in the editorial board meeting for possibility of final acceptance.
