For this reason from May 2008 through August 2010, 76 aborted fetuses randomly were collected. After necropsy, tissue samples were taken from the liver, stomach, lung, kidney, spleen, brain of the aborted fetuses and placenta (from the aborted dams). Tissue samples were kept at -20˚ C in the refrigerator until to performing the PCR test. Six (7.8%), sixteen (21%) and three (3.9%) out of 76 aborted fetuses showed positive reaction by the PCR test to the Brucella spp., Leptospira interrogans and Campylobacter fetus subspp. veneralis respectively. Prevalence of the Leptospira-induced abortions was high in the old cows and advanced pregnancies (7-9 months). However statistical difference was not observed among these groups or different periods of pregnancy (P>0.05). In conclusion, our results indicated that the Leptospira interrogans group is the most prevalent abortive factor among the Tabriz dairy herds and sometimes the RB51 vaccine can be abortive in the pregnant cows. سقط جنین‌های بروسلایی، لپتوسپیرایی و کمپیلوباکتریایی در راس عوامل باکتریایی ایجاد سقط جنین در گاو قرار دارند. به منظور بررسی فراوانی سقط جنین‌های ناشی از این عوامل در گاوداری‌های اطراف تبریز تعداد 76 جنین سقط شده در طول سال‌های 1389-1387 جمع‌آوری و مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. بعد از کالبدگشایی جنین‌ها، از محتویات شیردان، کبد، کلیه، ریه، مغز، قلب، طحال و جفت مادران نمونه‌برداری و نمونه‌ها تا زمان انجام آزمایشات در فریزر C˚20- نگهداری شدند. بعد از انجام آزمایشات PCR، تعداد سقط جنین‌های بروسلا‌یی 6 مورد (8/7%)، لپتوسپیر‌ایی 16 مورد (21%) و کمپیلوباکتر‌یایی 3 مورد (9/3%) تشخیص داده شد. نتایج حاصل از آزمایشات انجام یافته نشان داد که هر سه بیماری بروسلوز، لپتوسپیر‌وز و کمپیلوباکتر‌یوز در گاوداری‌های اطراف تبریز وجود دارند و فراوانی سقط‌های ناشی از بیماری لپتوسپیر‌وز بیشتر از بقیه موارد است. همچنین مشخص گردید که واکسن RB51 می‌تواند در برخی از گاو‌های آبستن موجب سقط جنین گردد.
