As regards the ambient temperature goes up 50 ˚C in warm months of Khuzestan province, so the aim of the present survey was evaluation of the different season's effect (warm and cold) on testosterone serum concentration in native dogs in Ahvaz district. For this purpose, six adult male dogs, clinically healthy and with age 1.5-2 years old were selected. Blood samples were collected during one year, the middle of each month and in the period between hours 8.30 to 11.30 mornings (72 samples). Testosterone concentration was measured using ELISA technique in serum samples. The obtained results were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA and Pearson correlation. In this survey, mean±standard error of testosterone serum concentration was detected 4.5±1.8 ng/ml yearly. The minimum and maximum of testosterone concentration were 0.2 and 7.3 ng/ml, respectively. The results showed that the changes of serum testosterone level, were significantly influenced by the sampling month (P<0.0001), so that the lowest levels of testosterone concentration was in May and June (1.7 ng/ml), while the highest level was in January and August (6.7 and 6.8 ng/ml) respectively. The mean testosterone concentration was 4.12±0.25 ng/ml in the warm season and 4.87±0.16 ng/ml in the cold season. The difference was statistically significant between the two seasons (P<0.05). In general, the season variables, have the potential effect on testosterone concentration, that is, the temperature and daylight duration correlated negatively with the testosterone serum concentration (temperature R=- 0.27; P=0.001, daylight duration R=- 0.20; p=0.013), and the humidity level, had a positive significant correlation with testosterone concentration (except August) in the studied dogs (R=0.21; P=0.011). In conclusion, it can be stated that the testosterone concentration is affected by the sampling season.}, keywords = {testosterone,season,Dog,Ahvaz}, title_fa = {تغییرات غلظت سرمی تستوسترون در دو فصل گرم و سرد در سگ‌های منطقه اهواز}, abstract_fa = {دمای محیط و طول مدت روز، دو فاکتور مهم به شمار می‌روند که ممکن است عملکرد تولید مثلی را در گونه‌های مختلف، تحت تأثیر خود قرار دهند. با توجه به‌اینکه درجه حرارت محیط در ماه‌های گرم استان خوزستان به مرز ˚C50 می‌رسد، هدف از انجام مطالعه حاضر، ارزیابی اثر فصول مختلف سال (گرم و سرد) بر غلظت سرمی تستوسترون، در سگ‌های بومی منطقه اهواز بود. بدین منظور 6 قلاده سگ نر بالغ، سالم از نظر بالینی و در محدوده سنی 2-5/1 سال انتخاب شدند. سپس خون‌گیری در طول مدت 1 سال، اواسط هر ماه و در بازه زمانی ساعت 30/8 تا 30/11 صبح، از سگ‌ها به عمل آمد (72 نمونه). غلظت تستوسترون در نمونه‌های سرمی بدست آمده، به روش الایزا اندازه‌گیری گردید. نتایج بدست آمده با استفاده از روش آماری ANOVA با اندازه‌گیری تکراری و همبستگی پیرسون، مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. در این مطالعه میانگین± خطای استاندارد غلظت سرمی سالانه تستوسترون،ng/ml 8/1±5/4 تعیین گردید. حداقل و حداکثر غلظت تستوسترون به ترتیب، 2/0 و ng/ml 3/7 بدست آمد. نتایج نشان داد که تغییرات سطح سرمی تستوسترون، به‌ صورت قابل توجهی تحت تأثیر ماه نمونه‌گیری قرار گرفته بودند (0001/0>P)، به-طوری‌که پایین‌ترین غلظت تستوسترون به میزان ng/ml 7/1، در ماه‌های اردیبهشت و خرداد و حداکثر آن به میزان 7/6 و ng/ml 8/6 به‌ترتیب در ماه‌های دی و مرداد بوده است. میانگین غلظت تستوسترون در فصل گرم ng/ml 25/0±12/4 و در فصل سرد ng/ml 16/0±87/4 بدست آمد و تفاوت بین دو فصل از نظر آماری معنی‌دار بود (05/0P<). به‌طور کلی، متغیرهای مورد بررسی فصل، تأثیر بالقوه‌ای بر غلظت تستوسترون دارد، به‌گونه‌ای که دما و طول روشنایی روز، رابطه معنی‌دار منفی (دما 001/0P=؛ 27/0- R=، طول روشنایی روز 013/0P=؛ 20/0- R=) و میزان رطوبت، رابطه معنی‌دار مثبت (011/0P=؛ 21/0R=) با غلظت تستوسترون (به جز مرداد ماه) در سگ‌های مورد مطالعه داشته‌ است.}, keywords_fa = {تستوسترون,فصل,سگ,اهواز}, url = {https://www.ivj.ir/article_48605.html}, eprint = {https://www.ivj.ir/article_48605_0aa2a662850e7c20e13b82180bd1e53b.pdf} }
