The accessory sex glands of 10 healthy mature native water buffalo were collected from Khouzestan industrial slaughterhouse. For histological study, specimens (0.5 cm thickness) of the prostate, Cowper and seminal glands were fixed in 10% buffered formalin. The samples then were processed using for the standard histological method. Paraffin blocks were sectioned at 5–6 µm and stained with hematoxylin and eosin, periodic acid Schiff, alcian blue, toluidine blue and Masson's trichrome. Results of this study showed that the seminal glands were tube-liked structure, hard, tough, multilobulated and large lobules on the outer surface grossly. Cowper’s glands were ovoid in shape, located on the dorsal surface of the pelvic urethra. Furthermore, the prostate gland in native water buffalo’ comprised of pars disseminate and corpus prostate. Histologically, the seminal glands were enclosed with loose connective tissue and thick smooth muscular tissue. Cowper’s glands were covered with a thick well-developed fibro-muscular capsule, formed of high concentration of collagen fiber and smooth muscle bundles. The parenchyma of the seminal and prostate was tubuloalveolar units and ducts. In conclusion, the results of this study showed that the accessory sex glands in Khouzestan native buffaloes are the essential glands of the genital system and they have a distinct and individual histological structure.}, keywords = {Macroscopy,histology,Accessory sex glands,buffalo,Khouzestan}, title_fa = {مطالعه هیستولوژی و هیستوشیمی غدد ضمیمه جنسی گاومیش بالغ بومی خوزستان}, abstract_fa = {    هدف از مطالعهی حاضر بررسی ساختار بافتشناسی غدد سمینال وزیکول، غدد کوپر و غدهی پروستات گاومیش بومی خوزستان در سن بلوغ بود.  غدد ضمیمهی جنسی 10 رأس گاومیش نر بالغ خوزستان و به ظاهر سالم از کشتارگاه صنعتی اهواز جمعآوری و مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند.  به منظور مطالعهی بافتشناسی، نمونههایی (ضخامت 5/0 سانتیمتر) از هر یک از غدد پروستات، کوپر و سمینال وزیکول در محلول فرمالینبافر 10 درصد فیکس شدند.  نمونههای پایدار شده به روش استاندارد تهیهی مقاطع بافتی پارافینی و با برشهایی با ضخامت 6-5 میکرومتر تهیه و با استفاده از روشهای هماتوکسیلین و ائوزین (H&E)، پریودیک اسید شیف (PAS)، آلسین بلو (AB)، تولوئیدن بلو و تریکرومماسون مورد مطالعهی بافتشناسی و هیستوشیمی قرار گرفتند.  نتایج مطالعهی حاضر نشان داد که از لحاظ ماکروسکوپی غدد سمینال وزیکول به صورت غددی با ساختار لولهای شکل، محکم، سخت و لوبوله بود.  غدد کوپر به صورت بیضی شکل و کوچک در سطح پشتی پیشابراه لگنی قرار گرفته بود.  همچنین، غدهی پروستات گاومیش خوزستان از دو بخش متراکم و منتشر تشکیل شده بود.  از لحاظ بافتشناسی، غدد سمینال وزیکول توسط کپسولی از بافت همبند سست به همراه بافت عضلانی صاف متراکمی پوشیده شده بود.  غدد کوپر توسط کپسول ضخیمی از بافت رشتهای-عضلانی حاوی رشتههای کلاژن فراوان و رشتهی عضلهی صاف احاطه شده بود.  پارانشیم غدد سمینال وزیکول و پروستات متشکل از واحدهای ترشحی آلوئولی-لولهای و مجاری بودند.  در مجموع، نتایج مطالعهی حاضر نشان داد که غدد ضمیمهی جنسی در گاومیش بومی بالغ خوزستان از غدد ضروری سیستم تناسلی آن میباشند و از لحاظ بافتشناسی هر کدام ساختار بافتی مشخص و منحصر به فردی را دارا هستند.}, keywords_fa = {ماکروسکوپی,بافت شناسی,غدد ضمیمه جنسی,گاومیش,خوزستان}, url = {https://www.ivj.ir/article_83666.html}, eprint = {https://www.ivj.ir/article_83666_5d97d25cd98841e7e6bb2781b4f0683d.pdf} }
